Yrs they do.
Yes they are.
Which Bush? Old or baby?
From Franklinton, take 56 to Creedmoor. You can't miss it. On the right after you cross over 85.
They have a breakfast burrito that is very good. I would suggest getting your hashbrowns put in your burrito and having it topped with white gravy. I think it's just under 5$
Old South is a fantastic diner to get a delicious meal! The chicken fried steak is very good and their burgers are very good as well! Breakfast is served all day here and any of those choice are also very good! The staff is always very friendly. This restaurant is highly recommended, check it out if you enjoy old diners!
Good atmosphere. GREAT food a0nd plenty of it. Must visit just fir the history.
This is probably one of the best restaurants in town. I have been going here for years. They have always cared about quality and it shows through the top notch service and fresh tastes. Plus the price point is spot on. Definitely a must if you are looking for a more home cooked feel.
I love this place! Great food and wonderful staff❤️
Old South Restaurant has great service and good home cooking.
Just a great old fashioned Southern diner. FOOD IS GREAT and my tea glass never went empty. Excellent service.
Fantastic old diner feel. The food was good and the service was excellent. It was busy with tons of locals.
Appripo name given it's rustic southern charm. Interior decorated in 70s era wood paneling with booths, tables and a sit at bar with old school stools. Plenty of wait staff and cooks at work to give you great service and ensure your food arrives quickly. I had the fried green tomatoes (yum!), battered in cornmeal, to start. Crisp and delicious with a sauce that reminded me of Utah's fry sauce. Dinner plate was chicken livers, gravy, fried okra and pinto beans. Would have preferred black eyed peas but oh well. I hadn't had chicken livers in a LONG time but they were good and not as scary as when I was a kid. There was so much between the sides and appetizer that I didn't finish them. Great experience all around. The only disappointment was that my waitress called me "bud" instead of "hon" 😅
A great meal, quaint retro establishment.
I will start with the service! Everyone was super friendly and very attentive! Everyone enjoyed the food, but I would say that the mashed potatoes were not my favorite with my roast beef plate.Ranch dressing was super good! Biscuits and gravy was delicious, too. My son enjoyed the Philly Steak. The pepper jack burger was yummy, but he recommends a glass of milk. Haha
The salmon I got as the special was very good and the fries were great. The table was a folding table that was really wobbly though which got interesting with 3 party members trying to cut steaks.
Yun yum yum. Just recently discovered this place but they've been around forever. A must if you like old diner type places. The steaks are nice with a good price.
Was very good overall. I'm a big hashbrowns eater and mine were not fresh at all.
We love it the food was very delicious brought back lots of memories my parents that live here over 20 years ago thanks for the memories ❤️❤️❤️
Best restaurant breakfast I've had. The corned beef hash was delicious! So are the biscuits! Service was outstanding.
The Old South Restaurant always has excellent service and a friendly atmosphere.
Highly recommended. Best food around.
If you like Breakfast for dinner, you have found your place! The pancakes have that little crisp fringe, the bacon is delicious even by bacon standards! Flaky fluffy biscuits are so good you'll slap your momma. I saw some "dinner food" like catfish, roast beef and chicken that smelled great, but I'm a BREAKFAST man
Tried this place after years of avoiding, really clean and the service was great. Amanda was super service. Will return soon as anything on menu can be ordered anytime.
Their Bacon Cheeseburger is one of the best I have ever had. The bacon was really good, and the hamburger was cooked perfectly. Old South is one of my favorite places to eat.
A local favorite that has stayed true to it's roots. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and variety on the menu. It is great that there is a selection of side dishes and daily specials. The BLT was a perfect choice on a hot summer day. Super friendly service and the prices were family friendly. The burgers looked great so I know what I will order next time.
Wonderful customer service everytime, and delicious food for a reasonable price. There's a reason why this restaurant is a Russellville staple! Highly recommend!
Excellent food and service, really cool to eat in a restaurant that built in the fifty's and still maintains the exterior and interior to the exact way it looked when it opened and the fact that Elvis, Carter and Clinton ate here!
Old South has always provided me with excellent service and good. I highly recommend their home cooked meals and friendly service.
Everything was delicious- except the mashed potatoes was disapointing instant or watery- just the only item that didn't seem to belong everything else was spot on. Chicken fried steak, liver and fries, burgers, fried green tomatoes very tasty.
Old South is on the National Register of Historic Places. That alone makes a visit to this 1940s diner worth your time. But an even better reason to drop in is the delicious home cooking and extraordinary service. I had the fresh Gulf snapper special on my most recent visit and found it perfectly cooked, flaky and seasoned just right. My wife had the chicken-fried steak, which she declared among the best she's ever eaten in a restaurant--lightly battered, fork tender and covered with a scrumptious white gravy. We can't wait to get back again for another visit.
Very disappointed with my meal and service. Instant potatoes and frozen okra? Really?? Not service dog friendly. Avoid this place. Recommending to Restaurant Impossible for a makeover!
Old South is my favorite breakfast place to go. They also have lunch and dinners which are great, but I go for the breakfast. I highly recommend!
Old South dressing, wonderful. Had the beggie plate. Been eating there for over 65 years.
Great gem! A lot of good food for not a lot of money! The owner came and talked to us at our table and everyone was very friendly. Pancakes, omelet, biscuits and gravy and everything else was very good. It's been there for years but I was told service was declining until current owner took over a couple of years ago. If you were disappointed in them in the past give them another chance. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Not sure where to start , They greet you with a smile ! The food is awesome! Taste like home cooking!
I think the fried green tomatoes are cut a bit too thick. The house dressing is pretty yummy. Mashed potatoes were gross. Gravy, pork chops, green beans and chicken fried steak were pretty good. The rolls were nasty. When it comes to rolls yeast rolls are far better than sourdough by far. I love sourdough just not as a roll ever. The rolls were cold and dry.
Good food, can't wait for things to get back to normal so we don't have to wait for a table. Love the food and good wait staff.
A lot better than it used to be. Recommend highly. You shouldn’t be disappointed. Excellent food, excellent & prompt service.
The last 2 times I have came here I have had VERY bad experiences with customer service. We got a waitress who was very rude to us, she kept ignoring us when we needed her, she had a really bad attitude and got loud with me and my spouse. I knew by how she was acting it was because we were gay. I LOVE their food, but its not worth the bad experiences.
Good old fashioned comfort food. Have not had a bad meal here. Family owned and you can tell the care about their customers and quality of food. Be prepared to leave wanting a nap.
Had a hard day at work and needing food to comfort myself. Old South did not disappoint. That had Meatloaf as one of the specials, I told the waitress to make mine double meat. Just what I was looking for to end the day. Food is always good and service is the best. It is good to be able to sit and enjoy a meal in great place.
Food was sooooo yummy!!!!! I wish the serving sizes were bigger but was cooked good.
This place is awesome. Great food and service. A dying piece of Americana. Hard to find these places anymore
My favorite restaurant in Arkansas. The best waitresses. The best atmosphere. The best cooks. Every time I eat there I love it even more
Great home style cooking. Generous portions. Friendly staff
The best southern style cooking in Russellville! My only advice- make sure to save room for dessert!
Great food! Excellent service. Easy on pocketbook. Good old fashioned souther cooking
So disapointed they don't have fried chicken any more but I understand since it takes so.long to cook. But everything they have is so good and prepared well and service is awesome.
Place was exactly what we were looking for. Had amazing steaks and wonderful staff. Very curious chocolate gravy that's super popular there.
Excellent food and Southern hospitality. Highly recommend!
Great food and service. I loved eating here in college and always come back.
True to its name, the fried chicken and fried okra were excellent. The staff was polite and despite a high volume of customers, the service was prompt. The interior is nothing fancy, but is tastefully decorated with memorabilia from decades gone by. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
Very good food and nice staff. The breakfast with chicken fried steak was awesome
Service Dogs are NOT welcome and we felt harassed by Management for having our legal, licensed service dog with us. No matter how good the food when staff makes you feel unwelcome it isn't worth it.
